Meeting in Yerevan: Dr. Vigen today informed us, that together with Naira, Lusine and Inessa it will be organized to have a meeting with all of You and the parents/children on Nov.28th, at 6:30 pm in the Conference Hotel.

GIZ Project: meanwhile we where informed, that there will be no Call for the GIZ Clinic Partnership Program this autumn. Hopefully in spring next year there will be another call. So we must do some research for other financing programs and/or find sponsors.

p dir=”ltr”>This refers to the planned NHS Project, but also to a project which I am planning since a while , which was called “Telehealth” and now is called “Remote Services” . It is about analyzing new online technologies which are useful for hearing impaired, easing access to those, and ease access to specific remote support from the side of CI companies and Apps.

p dir=”ltr”>Related to this project “Remote Services” I am in touch with two major companies in the Online Business to get trainings and free online tools and we started a campaign to get refurbished laptops , which are one of the 4 components of this project. We can bring two laptops to Yerevan and organize to jointly continue campaigning for further laptops.

p dir=”ltr”>Aside this expansion of the Upgrade SP donations to other technologies we are planning to initialize networking with the donors and other activities in relation to community building inside Armenia and internationally.

p dir=”ltr”>This is why we call the Upgrade program “Upgrade+PLUS. I will send further information within the next days.

p dir=”ltr”>By now we just have the following requests:

Who could do some tech support related to the laptops and the Remote Services ? We do not need tech senior experts, but rather experienced user in families with a CI user , or CI user themselves, maybe running a facebook account, etc. Or students in the field of care, journalism, informatics
It is voluntary for some months , and we will provide for free trainings. Once the program is scaling up and we can find financing, this also might result in a job. Or at least will be a good training for Web related jobs in general. -
We heard, that the husband of Naira is in the IT business. Could he kindly give some advise and support the setup of such a “Remote Services” Support Team and eventually have a meeting on Saturday 29th morning in Yerevan ?
